For pipe diameters 2" - 24" CCT use purpose made insulated pipefreezing jackets, complete with threaded injection and vented connections. The jackets are bolted to the pipe to ensure a good fit.
For pipe diameters below 2" CCT use purpose made pipefreezing jackets that clamp round the pipe work, the jackets are made to our own design. (see picture below showing 32mm freezing clamps)
CCT use portable liquid nitrogen pressure vessels, the pressure vessels range from 50 through to 160 litre capacity. On some applications, due to site access, we have the option to use 10 or 25 litre portable liquid nitrogen dewars.
All portable liquid nitrogen vessels are certified to the pressure systems regulations.
Stainless steel cryogenic hosing is connected to the pressure vessel and then to the pipefreezing jacket.
Temperature monitoring equipment is fitted to the pipe at specified locations.
